1987

Primex Acquires Chaney

The Koermer family acquired Chaney Instrument Company (founded in 1943), expanding the product line into decorative clocks, precision thermometers, and weather instruments. Today, Chaney's "AcuRite" brand has grown to be the leading line of weather instruments in North America.
